ASAP's Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Fund: Building a more just and equitable adaptation field.

When you donate to ASAP’s Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (JEDI) Fund you are providing necessary financial resources for ASAP to structure its programs and practices to align with our JEDI commitments.

The Fund advances justice by acknowledging that BIPOC professionals have not been afforded the same opportunities to enter and thrive in the adaptation field, and seeks to correct that injustice by providing incentives for, and removing barriers to, participation in the field.
The Fund supports equity by allocating resources for current and aspiring adaptation professionals to pursue professional development through fee-based events and other opportunities.
The Fund supports diversity by representing the experience and expertise of more racially and ethnically diverse groups of people by providing stipends to write for our Adaptation Voices program.
The Fund supports inclusion by prioritizing the experiences, wisdom, and needs of Black people, Indigenous peoples, and people of color in the way we allocate money.

Advancing justice and equity in our adaptation work and building a more inclusive and diverse adaptation community is an opportunity for all members and supporters of ASAP. Thank you for joining together in this effort!
